{"id":17514,"date":"2026-02-26T10:07:49","date_gmt":"2026-02-26T08:07:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ish-tsadik.org.il\/?post_type=faq&#038;p=17514"},"modified":"2026-02-26T10:07:49","modified_gmt":"2026-02-26T08:07:49","slug":"shushan-purim-in-tzfat","status":"publish","type":"faq","link":"https:\/\/www.ish-tsadik.org.il\/en\/faq\/shushan-purim-in-tzfat\/","title":{"rendered":"Shushan Purim in Tzfat"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-path-to-node=\"4\">You are obligated in the reading of the Megillah, in <b data-path-to-node=\"4\" data-index-in-node=\"61\">Matanot L&#8217;Evyonim<\/b>, and in the Mitzvah of the festive meal (<i data-path-to-node=\"4\" data-index-in-node=\"120\">Seudah<\/i>) and joy.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5\">Regarding <b data-path-to-node=\"5\" data-index-in-node=\"10\">Mishloach Manot<\/b>, there is a dispute:<\/p>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"6\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"6,0,0\">The <b data-path-to-node=\"6,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"4\">Pri Chadash<\/b> (Siman 695) requires it only on the 14th, as that is the primary day of <b data-path-to-node=\"6,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"88\">Purim<\/b> for most of the world.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"6,1,0\">The <b data-path-to-node=\"6,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"4\">Pri Megadim<\/b> (ibid.) requires it on both days.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"6,2,0\">This is also the ruling of <b data-path-to-node=\"6,2,0\" data-index-in-node=\"27\">Maran the Ben Ish Chai<\/b> (Parshat Tetzaveh), and it was the custom of the <b data-path-to-node=\"6,2,0\" data-index-in-node=\"99\">Holy Ari, zatzal<\/b> (see <i data-path-to-node=\"6,2,0\" data-index-in-node=\"121\">Kaf HaChaim<\/i> ibid.).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"7\">Regarding <b data-path-to-node=\"7\" data-index-in-node=\"10\">&#8220;Al HaNissim&#8221;<\/b> in the <i data-path-to-node=\"7\" data-index-in-node=\"31\">Amidah<\/i> prayer and <i data-path-to-node=\"7\" data-index-in-node=\"49\">Birchat HaMazon<\/i>: It should be recited on the 15th out of doubt (<b data-path-to-node=\"7\" data-index-in-node=\"113\">Mishna Berurah<\/b> 693:6).<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"8\">However, on the night of the 15th, <b data-path-to-node=\"8\" data-index-in-node=\"35\">&#8220;Ve&#8217;Atah Kadosh&#8221;<\/b> is not recited, and a Sefer Torah is not taken out on the day of the 15th (<b data-path-to-node=\"8\" data-index-in-node=\"127\">Kaf HaChaim<\/b>).
