Many have erred in this, understanding it to refer to sucking a grape in the literal sense, but this was not his intention. The <b data-path-to-node=\"5\" data-index-in-node=\"334\">Ben Ish Chai<\/b> (also cited by the <i data-path-to-node=\"5\" data-index-in-node=\"366\">Kaf HaChayim<\/i>) explained that the <i data-path-to-node=\"5\" data-index-in-node=\"399\">Pri Chadash<\/i> was referring to a case where one placed the entire grape in the mouth and subsequently spat out the peel.
