{"id":17841,"date":"2025-01-19T12:50:27","date_gmt":"2025-01-19T10:50:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ish-tsadik.org.il\/?post_type=involvement&#038;p=17841"},"modified":"2026-05-26T13:01:06","modified_gmt":"2026-05-26T10:01:06","slug":"friday-activity-at-dana-childrens-hospital","status":"publish","type":"involvement","link":"https:\/\/www.ish-tsadik.org.il\/en\/friday-activity-at-dana-childrens-hospital\/","title":{"rendered":"Friday Activity at &#8216;Dana&#8217; Children&#8217;s Hospital"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-path-to-node=\"3\">Dear Friends,<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"4\">Last Friday (January 17, 2025), our dedicated volunteers visited &#8216;Dana-Dwek&#8217; Children&#8217;s Hospital (Ichilov) in Tel Aviv to bring joy and comfort to the hospitalized patients.<\/p>\n<p id=\"p-rc_a108d3f3c250b271-21\" data-path-to-node=\"5\"><span data-path-to-node=\"5,1\"><span class=\"citation-47\">The volunteers visited various pediatric units, including general pediatric wards, various pediatric surgical departments, and the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)<\/span><\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"5,3\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"16\">Dear Friends,<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"17\">This past Friday, January 17, our amazing volunteers headed over to &#8216;Dana&#8217; Children&#8217;s Hospital (Ichilov) in Tel Aviv with one beautiful mission: to bring smiles to kids facing difficult times.<\/p>\n<p id=\"p-rc_a108d3f3c250b271-28\" data-path-to-node=\"18\"><span data-path-to-node=\"18,1\"><span class=\"citation-37\">Our team moved through the different pediatric units\u2014including general pediatrics, pediatric surgery, and the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)<\/span><\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"18,3\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"p-rc_a108d3f3c250b271-29\" data-path-to-node=\"19\"><span data-path-to-node=\"19,1\"><span class=\"citation-36\">Arriving with high energy, big smiles, and hearts full of love, our volunteers spent time chatting with the sweet kids and their families, sharing warm words of encouragement<\/span><\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"19,3\">. <\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"19,5\"><span class=\"citation-35\">They handed out age-appropriate gifts that instantly lifted the mood in the rooms<\/span><\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"19,7\">. We made sure to include special games and toys to keep the children entertained over Shabbat, when the hospital&#8217;s regular playtime activities are paused.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"20\">Because keeping these brave kids safe and infection-free is our top priority, we couldn&#8217;t enter the Pediatric Hemato-Oncology ward directly. But we didn&#8217;t want anyone to miss out!
