Volunteering at Barzilai Medical Center – Ashkelon (2)

On the 4^th day of Chol Hamoed Sukkot, our precious volunteers set out again to spend time with sick children at Barzilai Hospital in Ashkelon.

The following experience was reported by the group’s leader, Ms. Malka Hayoun.

“In the psychiatric ward, the head nurse accompanied us from room to room and from patient to patient. The nurse thanked us very much for the smiles we bring out in patients and for the gifts that we distributed. However, what touched me most was the fact that the patients blessed our volunteers. Blessings from the heart.”

“We came to bless and were found ourselves blessed!”
