Volunteering at Schneider Children’s Medical Center– Petah Tikvah (2)

On August 10, 2017, our volunteers worked with sick children at Schneider Children’s Hospital in Petah Tikva. This volunteering effort was  performed by youth as part of a community service initiative.

What is most amazing about this activity is that this group of young volunteers chose to volunteer their time at the height of the summer vacation, while their busy themselves with parties and sightseeing trips.

The youth initiative focused primarily on engaging sick kids with fun activities on their way to and from painful treatments. By doing so, the volunteers also helped the kids’ parents who were able to relax a bit from the constant caring for their sick children

Ish Tzadik Haya received positive feedback and a warm thank you from the parents.

We are fortunate to merit such wonderful youth.
