The Words of Rabbi Chaim Eideles
The Words of Rabbi Chaim Eideles

These Torah discourses presented before you were delivered in public gatherings, amidst the praises of the community. The purpose of these lectures is to delve together into the depths of both the Written and Oral Torah, drawing from them a path for daily life as we constantly navigate the complexities and winding trails of our world.

Our Torah is a "Living Torah"—a guide that elevates us toward the Divine. When studied with purity and humility, it possesses the power to purify, refine, and enlighten our hearts and minds with a brilliant light, aligning us with our precise mission on this earth. May it be His will that you merit Heavenly blessings in all your endeavors—in both spirit and substance—and experience everlasting joy.

Yours with love

Purim at the Rabbi's House

To our holy and distinguished community, our honored and beloved friends,

We stand on the eve of Purim, a day of which our Sages said, "Purim is like Kippurim" (Zohar). The "Light of the World," Rabbi Israel of Ruzhin, explained that Yom Kippur is called Kippurim because it is Ke-Purim—meaning "like Purim." This implies that the "lesser" day (Yom Kippur) is dependent on the "greater" day (Purim). This day transcends human intellect and the limitations of time and space. It serves as a window in the year through which we can reach the King of Kings directly, from whatever state we find ourselves in, through that hidden cry within the yearning heart of every Jewish soul.

Therefore, it is incumbent upon us to rejoice and cry out as one, to receive every heartfelt wish for the good—both spiritually and materially—and for every personal and collective need, keeping the salvation of our people at the forefront of our minds.

Our Sages recommended for Purim: "To whoever stretches out a hand, we give." We must stand before our Father, our King, the Merciful Father, like "beggars at the doorway." As the poor and destitute, we knock at Your gates, pleading for both personal and collective redemption, while taking to heart the struggles of one another.

On Purim, the public is invited to rejoice, pray, and petition together. During the day, with G-d's help, we will convene a "Beit Din of Love." Further details will be published soon.

Happy Purim!

Monthly Prayer Service at the Gravesite of Rabbi Aryeh Levin

We, the members of the organization, have taken it upon ourselves to gather every Erev Rosh Chodesh (the eve of the New Month) to recite the Yom Kippur Katan prayers at the gravesite of the "Tzaddik of Jerusalem," Rabbi Aryeh Levin, in the Sanhedria Cemetery in Jerusalem.

The service is led by Rabbi Michael Levin, the great-grandson of Rabbi Aryeh.

Schedule and Exceptions

The prayer service takes place eight times a year. It is not held before the months of Cheshvan, Tevet, Iyar, and Tishrei. These four months are remembered by the Hebrew mnemonic חטאת (Chatat—meaning "Sin Offering"), which stands for:

  • ח - Cheshvan: Because the "Great" Yom Kippur has only recently passed.

  • ט - Tevet: Because the eve of the month falls during the joyous holiday of Hanukkah.

  • א - Iyar: Because the preceding month (Nisan) is a time when fasting and penitential prayers are prohibited.

  • ת - Tishrei: Because it is the eve of Rosh Hashanah.

Announcements: Whenever the service is scheduled to take place, details are posted on the local notice boards.
