B”H On Purim Eve, our dedicated volunteers visited the ‘Beit Horim’ senior living facility to celebrate a special Purim party and share the joy of the holiday with the residents.

Dressed in festive costumes and radiating high spirits, our volunteers arrived at the facility in the afternoon. The shared activity began with singing and karaoke. Throughout the musical session, the volunteers thoughtfully paused between songs, inviting the residents to share their own fond memories—whether of past costumes, personal anecdotes, or uplifting life experiences.

Following the music, everyone joined in a creative workshop, crafting and decorating clown masks together. This hands-on activity brought wonderful energy to both the residents and the staff.

During the event, the volunteers distributed small, festive treats tailored to the holiday spirit. The residents were deeply moved by the visit, expressing their heartfelt gratitude and emphasizing the joyful atmosphere that filled the room.

Bringing Purim Magic to ‘Beit Horim’ Senior Living!

B”H This Purim Eve, our amazing volunteers headed over to the ‘Beit Horim’ senior living community for a very special mission: to celebrate, sing, and bring holiday cheer to the residents!

Arriving in full costume with smiles all around, our volunteers kicked off the afternoon with an uplifting singing and karaoke session. But it wasn’t just about the music—between songs, the volunteers took moments to chat with the residents, listening beautifully as they shared nostalgic stories about childhood costumes and favorite holiday memories.

Next up was a fun arts-and-crafts workshop where everyone teamed up to decorate colorful clown masks, sparking lots of laughter and high spirits among the residents and staff alike.

With festive treats handed out and music in the air, the atmosphere was unforgettable. The residents were incredibly touched by the visit, thanking the volunteers warmly for making their holiday so bright.
