You should know that the very fact that you trouble yourself to attend the class—even if you do not understand, provided you strive with all your strength—will merit you to understand the entire study in the World to Come. This is written in the Zohar HaKadosh (Parshas Vayishev). As the wisest of all men said: “The soul of the laborer labors for him” (Proverbs 16:26).
The Or Zarua (Hilchos Krias Shema) writes that for all the effort and listening, you will receive a reward exactly like one who understood everything, because “Lefum Tza’ara Agra” (the reward is according to the effort). You should also pray fervently during the Blessings of the Torah and in the blessing of “Ahava Rabba” that the gates of your heart and understanding in Torah be opened. This is written by the Noda BiYehuda (Tzelach, Berachos 64b; see also the glosses of Rabbi Akiva Eiger, Yoreh De’ah Siman 376).
Another great Segulah (spiritual remedy) is to be meticulous about kissing the book you are studying before and after the session (Or Tzadikim, Siman 22), and to recite the verses in which Eliyahu HaNavi (Elijah the Prophet) is mentioned on Saturday night at the conclusion of the Holy Shabbos (Tur, end of Siman 299).
