The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has led to a significant increase in the number of families facing financial distress, with no clear end in sight to the crisis. As the education system transitioned to remote learning via computers, parents have been pressured to find digital solutions for their children—a requirement that has only deepened their sense of hardship.

Many families lack the means to provide a computer for a child, and those with multiple children in the school system face an even greater challenge. Consequently, children without the tools for remote learning have found themselves excluded from the educational framework.

At the Ish Tzadik Haya organization, we have taken it upon ourselves to support these families by purchasing tablets to enable remote learning. The recipient families were carefully selected based on recommendations from social welfare authorities. It was made clear that these devices are intended strictly for educational purposes to ensure they are not misused for inappropriate browsing. To complete this initiative, all participating families were also offered the option of a "Kosher" internet connection (via Internet Rimon).
