Last Friday, March 7, 2025, our dedicated volunteers visited Meir Medical Center in Kfar Saba to bring joy and light to the hospitalized children.
The volunteers visited various pediatric wards, including the General Pediatric Ward, the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), and Pediatric Surgery. Throughout the activity, they spent time brightening the spirits of the sweet children and their families, checking in on their well-being, and distributing thoughtful gifts that brought bright smiles to their faces.
Later, the volunteers also visited the Pediatric Emergency Department, where they helped ease the stress and anxiety typically felt in such a high-pressure environment.
A period of hospitalization is inherently challenging, and even more so for children. For this reason, we attach profound importance to the mitzvah of visiting the sick (Bikur Cholim) all year round—and especially during the month of Adar, when we are commanded to increase our joy.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the wonderful children and their families for granting us the privilege of sharing these uplifting moments with them.
